For one week, our students will have the opportunity to change their lives! Our Spring HBCU Tour exposes students to 13 Historically Black Colleges and several civil rights landmarks and memorials.

This is the tour that put us on the map! Not only will students tour 13 of the best HBCUs, but they will explore the contributions made by Booker T. Washington, George Washington Carver, and Medgar Evers. In addition to this, our students will visit the new Equal Justice Initiative site in Montgomery, AL, memorializing our ancestors who were lynched without justice ever being served on their behalf. We believe that to understand the issues we face today, we must know our history.  This tour steps beyond the history books and gives our students the opportunity to walk in the footsteps of those who were brave enough to challenge America's systems in an effort to leave a better world for each one of us.

Tour Stops include:  Tennessee, North Carolina, Alabama, Mississippi, and Georgia. The civil rights landmarks/memorials featured on this tour are: The Legacy Museum:  From Enslavement to Mass Incarceration, The National Memorial for Peace & Justice, The Medgar Evers Home Museum, The grave sites of Booker T. Washington and George Washington Carver.  Entertainment will take place at the award-winning theme park, Six Flags Over Georgia  in Austell, Georgia.  Students will also have time to unwind and socialize at our ATL Movie Night and Main Event Bowling event.  These outings are ALL included in the price for this tour!
