For one week in April, 8th-12th grade students will have the opportunity to change their lives! Our Spring HBCU Tour exposes students to 11 Historically Black Colleges and several civil rights landmarks and memorials.

This is the tour that put us on the map! Not only will students tour 11 of the best HBCUs, but they will explore the contributions made by Booker T. Washington, Dr. Martin Luther King, Frederick Douglass, and Mary Mcleod Bethune. We believe that to understand the issues we face today, we must know our history.  This tour steps beyond the history books and gives our students the opportunity to walk in the footsteps of those who were brave enough to challenge America's systems in an effort to leave a better world for each one of us.

Tour Stops include:  Washington, D.C., Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Florida, and Georgia. The civil rights landmarks/memorials featured on this tour are: MLK Memorial, Lincoln Memorial, The Birth Home of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr, and the King National Historic Site.  Entertainment will take place at the award-winning theme park,
Carowinds  in Charlotte, North Carolina.  We will also visit the world-renowned Cascade  Fun Center, as featured on the hit movie ATL along with enjoying a movie night in Virginia Beach  and a game of WhirlyBall  in Atlanta.  These outings are ALL included in the price for this tour!
